Adovia Mineral Skin Care Dead Sea Salt Scrub - Deep Hydration and Exfoliation

Readers of Chat With Vera will recognize the name "Adovia" from previous product reviews. It has been a pleasure each time I've been granted the opportunity to review an Adovia product. Today we're looking at the Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub that not only exfoliates but gives deep hydration of your freshly exfoliated skin.

I recognize that everyone is different and each person's skin and personal needs are different so it is not likely that a product line will always provide products equally agreeable to each and every person.

First let's look at the really positive aspects of this Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub. It has a really pleasant fragrance. One that appeals to my senses and causes a pleasant experience.

Next, the dead sea salts are packed with minerals that aid in the care of my skin and the texture of the salts exfoliates very well. Then the hydration aspect is silky and lasting.

I first used this as a hand and arm scrub to exfoliate and hydrate. I liked this so much I then tried it a couple of days later in my bath. It certainly exfoliates well and the oils also provide a silky film that seems to last and last.

Now let's look at the aspects that did not appeal to me (and this is, of course, my opinion and observations).

The package is sealed with a film that the user tears or cuts off. In doing so, some of the pool of oils splashes out and this can be a bit messy. Also, the oils and salts are somewhat separated with the oil floating on the top. So you have to dig and stir with your fingers to get the product out in a fairly good mix. Once I had secured my product, I used it. It certainly feels good.

I noticed that my bath was very slippery so I had to exercise care to prevent a fall. This would be true with any oil soaks, but I had not expected such slippery conditions from a salt scrub. Due care will be necessary at any age but for the senior population, I would not recommend the use of this product in bath or shower.

I can certainly recommend it for other uses, though. as it is a very pleasant product. Just use care and small amounts. The product may be acquired here.
